Outside Style Condenser Plugs

Outside style condenser plugs are excellent for sealing leaky and problematic tubes. Made of metal hardware and one or two rings of special isoprene natural rubber compound creates exceptional adhesion to metal, ensuring a leak free seal. When the nut is tightened the rubber expands to fit snug against the inside diameter of the tube while the oversized washer pushes the plug flush against the end of the tube.*Also available with silicone rings for high temperature heat exchangers and condensers.
**Metal hardware come in brass, bronze, stainless steel, titanium and others upon request. Metal hardware is recommended to match the tube material.

There are three options offered for an Outside Style condenser plug.

Inside Style Condenser Plugs

Inside style condenser plugs allows you to place the plug further inside the tube, past the tube sheet if required.  Expanding the rubber ring allows the plug to fit flush against the tube ID ensuring a complete seal of the tube.

Quick Push Plug JRRT10

The quick push plug is made of molded Buna N rubber with NO metal parts. The plug is inserted by pushing against the inside cavity wall using the setting tool. This causes the length to increase, reducing the outside diameter of the plug allowing it to enter the tube. Remove the setting tool so the plug fits snug in the tube, creating a tight seal.

Quick Push Adjustable Plug JRRT11

Quick push adjustable plug with brass screw and cap is made with a brass insert and oil resistant Buna N rubber. For easy insertion remove the brass cap using a screw driver. Increase the plugs body length by turning the internal adjustable screw to the right. Place the plug into the tube end and turn the adjusting screw until the plug is tight in the tube. Replace cap for a complete seal.
